Dealerships just hit you with the same old \u201cagende servi\u00e7o\u201d sales-funnel pitch. Forums were all over the place, and it\u2019d take hours to dig through them. And YouTube? Tons of videos, but they\u2019d gloss over those little details that change with each model year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s hpw Leandro came up with the idea of creating a narrow-niche website for car owners. Most pages would be optimized for every common DTC + car model + year combination, with a 3\u2011minute reset sequence and a short embedded video. Forums have serious domain authority, and dealers dominate the high-intent queries like \u201cschedule service.\u201d If your site doesn\u2019t have much real content, you\u2019re in for an uphill battle.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"_esn9ybgf62zr\"><\/a><strong>SEO strategy: How to create a niche site in Brazil<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following Google\u2019s Helpful Content changes in 2023-2024, the launch of a new website turned into a nightmare. The plan that Leandro selected proved right: he picked a niche with low competition and genuine problems faced by the target audience. And no ads till 2026, but for another reason. He knew dumping hundreds of pages at once would scream \u201cthin content\u201d to Google and probably trigger penalties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His template added uniqueness to each page, featuring model-specific warnings (like \u201cOn 1.0 TSI engines, hold the accelerator during reset\u201d) and using a simple Google Sheets formula to inject a genuinely unique sentence for each model year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All of these pages were created with the help of AI. A hub page accumulates surface knowledge in a specific subject, leading users to more detailed content pieces, developing this subject from various angles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hub examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>\/gol\/<\/em> interlinked all Gol reset guides<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>\/p0420\/ <\/em>interlinked all cars with that code<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next, the \u201cRelated codes\u201d sidebar was released to keep users on the site (massively increasing ad impressions per session\u2014more on that later).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This stage also required the publisher to submit multiple sitemaps, but in chunks, never all at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"_jxtl8dwft10j\"><\/a><strong>Stage 4: Earning real, non-spammy backlinks (months 9\u201315)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Backlinks have always been highly valued by search engines, but only relevant and non-toxic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Leandro joined the largest Brazilian car forums (e.g., HB20 Clube) and answered 100+ questions with genuine help, occasionally linking to a guide. Some forums restrict posting links, so Leandro had to add them to answer-comment-only posts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When one explanatory post about \u201cP0128 no Gol G6\u201d went viral on a Facebook group, the site got two do\u2011follow links from regional auto blogs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leandro created a <strong>free DTC lookup tool<\/strong> (just a simple database) and promoted it on Reddit, getting 4 natural backlinks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By month 24, twelve authoritative websites were sending quality backlinks to Leandro\u2019s site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"_cewjr7hhzwnm\"><\/a><strong>Stage 5: Keeping content fresh (months 16\u201324)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As new car model years rolled out, the spreadsheet automatically updated the template. This is achievable because the average session includes 2.5 page views (users click related codes, related cars).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Leandro\u2019s advice:<\/em><br><em>Keep an eye on the <\/em><strong><em>content-to-ad ratio on mobile<\/em><\/strong><em>. On a 5\u2011inch screen, does the first thing a user sees contain meaningful content? It must be like that. If ads take more than 30\u201140% of the initial viewport, reconsider changing the layout.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"_mqtu9e9r9fnx\"><\/a><strong>Extra monetization: Popunders and Social Bar<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Later on, Leandro reached out to the Adsterra Support team and asked if he could put static banners in addition. The team suggested using Popunder and Social Bar instead. These 2 formats don\u2019t compete with native ads, appearing in a different manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The parties agreed to test both ad types on a limited number of pages (several hub pages and target guides). Social Bar showed impressive 33% CTRs and the highest monetization potential on a website, but since Leandro put limits on page placements, traffic volumes and viewability could generate only $52 after 2 weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Popunder&#8217;s CPM proved to be the best among other formats, $1.3. Again, ad impressions were insufficient to generate more revenue, but the potential was enormous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogdev.adsterratech.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/revenue-breakdown-by-ad-units.png\" alt=\"revenue-breakdown-by-ad-units\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Banners that Leandro had put first were repositioned to the bottom of the pages, and, predictably, they didn\u2019t generate enough views and money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"_jqxcdqjhteye\"><\/a><strong>Strategy roast: what worked, why, and what to do<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Summing up, that\u2019s how a low-competition Brazilian niche site could gain its first income:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Steady, realistic publishing.<\/strong> Rolling out 2,000 pages all at once is asking for trouble. Dropping 15\u201320 each week looks like healthy growth to Google.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Genuine backlinks.<\/strong> Even a dozen real, niche-relevant links pushed pages up from 6th to 1st spot for tough long-tail keywords. Without them, the site wouldn\u2019t have reached 30,000 visits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prioritizing the user. <\/strong>Fast loading, real photos and videos, clear warnings based on the actual car, and internal links that actually helped people.
